Iluvsarahii x Dose of Colors | Review and first experience w/ Dose of Colors!

He guys.

I’m sure you have noticed that I have been lacking on looks and reviews. My blog has turned into mostly unboxings.

I am not proud of this. Sometimes motivation and inspiration just seems to completely disappear. I am hoping that it is finally starting to come back to me.

Anyway…

I finally purchased my first Dose of Colors products, and boy am I excited.

Iluvsharahii is a beauty influencer, who I actually am not familiar with- but I can tell that she has great taste!

Dose of Colors is a paraben Free, gluten free, and cruelty free brand.

Eyeshadow Palette $35

This 6 pan palette consists of 2 matte, 2 shimmer/metallic shades, and 2 glitter shades.

All are very pigmented and very on par with recent beauty trends. Warm shades with a pop of blue.

The blue and black (glitter shades) do have quite a bit of fall out, but I expected this to be so.

Liquid Lip “Aesthetic” $18

This shade is a stunning warm red.

I love this Liquid lip. It is very pigmented, applied evenly, and has great staying power. It is also vegan.

I have to say, I think this is my new favorite liquid lip stick formula.

I will gladly be spending the $18 to purchase more shades from the brand.

The Look

  • I started by priming my eyes with the NYX Glitter Primer and set it with a matte powder of my skin tone.
  • I started with the lightest pinky peach shade in the palette and buffed it in to my crease and over most of my lid as the transition shade.
  • I then took the darkest matte shade in the palette and blended it in to my crease, but more centered into my crease than the other shade.
  • I then took the glittery black shade and placed on my outer v and then buffed the remainder of the pigment on the brush into my outer crease.
  • After a lot of blending, I placed the blue shade all over the rest of my lid.
  • I then did I basic line with my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper.
    • On my lower lash line, I lined the outer part with a random black liner.
I buffed the lightest matte shade under my lower lash line as a transition, again.
Then I define my lash line with the deepest matte shade.
I then popped the lightest shimmer shade into my inner corner.
I finished my eyes off with the Younique Epic Lash Mascara.

Over all thoughts on the Palette?

I love it! I can’t think of a single bad thing. The packaging is beautiful and compact. The mirror is very use full. The shades are pigmented, very pretty and easy to blend.

So far my opinion of the brand is outstanding and I have this urge to buy everything they have available at Ulta!

Speaking of, you can pick up the two featured product online at Ulta.Com

What is your favorite Dose of Colors products?

BoxyCharm July 2018 | Road Trippin’

I love to travel. My most favorite place in the entire world is up in the mountains near Bozeman Montana. Camping in the mountains is where I feel the most at home.

Where is your favorite place to visit?

BoxyCharm is $21 a month and contains 5-6 full/deluxe sample sized beauty items

This months theme is travel themed. Let’s see what BC packed. (Lame.)

    Dr.Brandt No More Baggage $42

I don’t have anything to say about this eye cream besides that it is NOT cruelty free. Passed it on to my mom.

Crown Brush Fuego Eyeshadow Palette $29.99

First and foremost, I want to say that I am very confused about Crown’s CF status. Logical Harmony has made posts about some of their brush sets in the past, but I think it is still gray listed as a brand. But, other sources say it is CF?

    HELP!

Anyway, this Palette is really pretty.

Here is a terrible swatch of a few of the shades. If there was a matte cream shade this would be the perfect palette for me. I love warm tones, I think they make my eyes look pretty.

I will do a look post with this palette!

Wander Beauty Unlashed Volume and Curl Mascara $24

    Wander beauty is CF!!

This is my first product from the brand wanted. I think the packaging is really cute. I have heard good things and I love trying new mascaras.

Note Cosmetics Luminous Silk Blusher “Desert Rose” $11.99

From what I can find, Note is 100% CF and Vegan!!! I may be mistaken, but I really hope I am not because $12 is not bad!

The formula is very soft and packs a punch as far as pigment goes.

The shade is really pretty and is a great shade for summer. I am love how sturdy the compact is and that it has a mirror. It also has a useless brush.

    Chella Beauty Eyebrow Cream $26

    Chella is CF!

Some how this is the 1st Chella product I have gotten. Everyone else has gotten their products in subscription boxes before.

I have heard mixed reviews so we will see how this goes.

That is is for my box! I do have to say 4 out of 5 isn’t bad!! That’s still a value of $91.98!! I do love BoxyCharm.

Which of these products would you like to see a review on?

Should I pick up more from Note Cosmetics?

    Thank you for reading 💜

BeRad Cosmetics | Cruelty Free/ Vegan Faux Mink Lash & Natural Adhesive Remover.

First, let me start off by saying how thankful I am for this package. I rarely buy lashes, because I never use them. Now, I am stocked up for a while!

    About the brand:

Be Rad Cosmetics is all about living your life as fully and consciously as possible.”

Be Rad is a cruelty free, vegan, and mindful beauty brand. Who, if I do say so myself, makes so stunning lashes.

Each pair is $20 and there are 4 different styles. My favorite is “Boss Babe All Day.”

Here they are on my eyes here!

    And here!

You can purchase them, and the three other last styles, Here.

The lashes are easy to apply, keep in mind I rarely wear lashes. (Thank god there was some duo lash glue in the package!!)

The band isn’t too wide, but it isn’t too thin either.

Is $20 steep? I think so ( if it wasn’t for their other products) But, compared to similar products it is on par as far as price goes.

With the next Be Rad product we will be discussing, these lashes will last ages.

    The Lash Adhesive Remover

Be Rad came out with a NATURAL lash adhesive remover!

It cost $25 and comes with 2-10mL bottles. One of the wash the second the rinse.

This may seem like a small amount of product, however, you only need one-two sprays of each!

The remover is made with essential oils that are plant based. Completely free of harsh toxins and chemicals.

    Before

As you can see, there is a ton of build up on my lashes.

So first I sprayed them with the wash. The let it sit for 4 minuets.

Then I peeled the Adhesive off with tweezers. It came off the first lash super easy. Not so much the second.

Once I got the adhesive off, I sprayed it with the rinse, the them sit for a bit, then stored them away!

    After

All that build up is gone.

I will be honest it took a bit on the second lash. But, it did come off.

If I wore lashes more often this is 100% a system I would repurchase.

    Final thoughts?

I love the lashes, when I wear them these will definitely be my go to lashes!

The adhesive remover is a fantastic idea, and I will definitely use it. If I get more in to lashes I will purchase it once I run out. You can get it Here, for your self!

I am very much so looking forward to see what Be Rad has in store for the future. They are a cruelty free, vegan, and mindful brand. What isn’t to fall in love with?

Fortune Cookie Soap OTM June ‘18| 80’s

Today has just been, well, the worst. So I decided to finally open up my Fortune Cookie Soap of the month Box for June.

I absolutely love Soap. I always have. Apparently when I was younger I would ask to go smell soap instead of look at toys.

FCS is a cruelty free brand and all their items are made in Oklahoma, USA. I believe I pay around $35 a month for this box including shipping. I live in Missouri for reference.

This months theme is the 80’s. Let’s dig in!

    Billie Jean Perfume Oil $7.99

“Mandarin zest, birch wood, and vanilla.”

The scent of Billie Jean is warm with citrusy under notes. I actually really enjoy it. I have a few other FCS perfume oils and they all last a very long time.

“Danger Zone” It’s a Doodie! Toilet spray $9.99

“Peach Melba, sugar musk, Black Cherry.”

More of FCS’s version of poo-poury!!! We love the other one I received. This one has a nice scent to it as well.

Permed and Teased Argon Hair Shine Serum $8.99

Sweet Pea and a base note of nectarine “

I can always use a good hair oil. I have frizzy, wavy, and damaged hair. I am always happy to try a new one. Especially one that smells so good!

Life is Delicious Lip Scrub $9.99

    “Strawberries “

I will be honest, I am not big on the taste of strawberries. But I did test this product out so I think I am going to see if my mom wants it.

For reference it is not as harsh as the Lush lip scrubs, and also more moisturizing. It would be perfect if it wasn’t strawberry flavored.

    Mixtape Glowtion $14.99

    “Watermelon, light white floras, coconut”

I have tried this Glowtion a few times already. I love it! It smells fantastic and makes my arms and legs look so good. It has a slight tan tint to it as well as some shimmer. It is the perfect product for summer.

FCS Vice Cooling Aloe Mist $9.99

    “Mojitos, sugared papaya, casaba melon”

This aloe mist is meant to cook you down after a day in the sun. Or just feeling super hot in general. This is another product I have already tried. I love it, another great edition to your summer product arsenal.

Totally Rad Facial Cleansing Oil $16.99

Bartlett pears, pink grapefruit, pink sugar”

Always up for a facial cleanser. This is one is packed with vitamin E,A,C and D. Sounds like a great way to fight bacteria to me.

There is only one product this month I won’t be using. Everything else I am already loving or very excited to try. Another Of The Month well worth the money. I am excited to see what next month brings!

Which products are you curious to see reviewed?

    Veíse | Clean Skincare

Fun fact of the day. I am running out of things to read. What are you favorite books?

Now, for the actual reason you are here. CLEAN SKINCARE!

Veíse is a beauty brand committed to empowering women, never testing on animals, and using only clean ingredients. 1% of ALL of their sales go to helping further the education of women in impoverished areas. What an amazing mission.

It is so so important that we are smart consumers and support companies with strong ethics and quality products. You can see that their ethics are FANTASTIC. Here’s what I think of the products I got to try.

    Hydrating Face Wash $24 5.2Oz

The packaging is a frosted glass bottle with a pretty pink label and a black pump. Thank god for pumps!

The ingredients in this face wash are so easy to find and so easy to understand. “Apple cider vinegar, geranium raw honey, and virgin marula. How clear is that?! I know I feel 100000 times better when I know exactly what is going in and on my body.

But does it work? Yes! My face feels clean, fresh, and soft after each use. I’m addicted. And it’s great for all skin types.

You can get addicted too, get it here.

    Dream Serum $38 0.5 Fl.Oz

The packaging is again frosted glass and there is a pump to dispense the product.

Let’s touch the main concern right off the bat. That is a lot of money, for a little product. But, that little bit packs a ton of punch.

The serum contains Hyaluronic Acid, Kojic Acid, vitamin C, and Lactobacillus.

The purpose of this product is to fight acne and fade scaring.

I have a ton of acne and have a lot of scarring. The two weeks that I have been using this product I have had a better complexion than I have in ages. I plan on doing a more in-depth post, that will really show off the progress.

I don’t like spending money, but this is a product I don’t think I can live with out.

See the magic for your self, here.

I want to try more from Veíse so bad! I am in love with both of the products I have tried from them. I know for a fact I will repurchase!

Have you tried any Veíse products?

    Thank you for reading 💜

Ipsy May 2018 | Go There

I love traveling. I work for a travel company, I travel any chance I get. I actually just got back from a little trip. My favorite places to visit are Montana and Colorado.

Where are your favorite places to visit?

As you can tell from this posts title, I caved and got Ipsy again. I get major FOMO, even for the bags themselves!

And this bag is super cute and travel themed, which is perfect for me. It isn’t as sturdy as bags in the past, but I will still find use for it.

Adesse NewYork Nail Polish “Oh, Cabana Boy” $18

The cost of the bag is already covered and then some! This nail color is very pretty, perfect for summer. Not only is it cruelty free, but it is 12 free which is fantastic. I cannot wait to put it on my toes, it is going to make my sunflower tattoo pop!

Tony Moly Painting Therapy Pack $6.50 for the set of I believe 5

The masks come in different colors, this one is black. It is meant for sebum control, which is very nice for the summer. HOWEVER, I do not believe Tony Moly is Cruelty Free, so I am going to pass it on to a friend.

Tarte Amazonian Clay Setting Powder $33 full size

This is a powder I already know and absolutely love! It works amazing and is so smooth. I don’t think I have ever disliked something from Tarte. I am always happy for see them in subscription boxes.

Elizabeth Mott Pop! Goes the Shadow “Mermaid Teal” $13

I always love getting these single shadow pans, I’m not even sure why. It’s not like I reach for them a ton. This is my first time really experiencing Elizabeth Mott, and I see that they are Cruelty Free!

I am not sure that this shadow is pigmented enough to be $13, but maybe my swatch is just crappy. I will have to do a look with it.

Touch in Sol Style Sepia Liner “Jardin” $17 for the full-size

I think this shade will make my green eyes pop. I am not sure how I feel about the crushed diamonds in it though.

The pencil is very smooth, I just could never see my self spending $17 on a pencil eyeliner.

That’s it for my Ipsy bag! I am pretty happy with it considering it is only $10! What was in your Ipsy bag? What products would you like to see reviewed??
