Petit Vour | April 2017

It is finally Petit Vour time! This is a cruelty free, vegan, and green Beauty Box that cost $15 per month. It usually has some pretty high priced product samples in it.

Marie Natie Lip Gloss “Tickled” $19

This gloss feels really nice, and it is a beautiful summer/spring shade.

“Coconut and jojoba oil moisturize and smooth surface of lips to maximize wearability.”

French Girl Organics Cuticle Oil $10

My nails and cuticles sucks. They are so crappy and dry. Any cuticle oil is okay by me.

“This luxurious blend of high potency extracts and essential oils with a citrus rose scent makes for a powerful treatment for healthier nails and cuticles.”

Suntegrity Skincare Makeup W/ SPF “Fair” $5

During hot weather I love tinted moisturizers, especially with SPF in it. I was really glad to see the shade was on that will actually suit my skin tone.

“Did you know that nearly every sun care product on the market contains toxic ingredients? Suntegrity is the answer to anyone who ever wondered if an effective, holistic sun care line exists.”

Nubian Heritage Patchouli & Buriti Body Lotion $3

I actually already own the soap that goes with this lotion, so I was excited to receive this, it smells fantastic.
That is it for this months box. I hope you enjoyed it, thank you for stopping by. Have you tried any of these products? Comment below!

My Too Lazy to do Makeup Makeup Look | FT. Glossier, Tarte, 100% Pure, ETC..

Every now and then I need to make my face look presentable, but I am too lazy to put in much effort. I have been seeing everyone’s minimal product routine, which prompted me to share my latest one!

100% Pure Coffee Bean Under Eye Cream

I got this product from Petit Vour, and fell in love with it. It really does brighten under my eyes and makes me look more awake. This is not a step I am willing to skip!

Ulta Brow Pomade “Soft Brown”

This is a really inexpensive alternative to the ABH brow pomade, that is still cruelty free. It is really pigmented, so the Jar lasts ages. You need the smallest amount to take care of your entire brow. I usually apply mine with the BH Cosmetics 21 brush. It is like $2 and works great.

Glossier Boy Brow “Blonde”

Yes, I still love this stuff. I always use it to set my brows and add a little more volume. Obviously, my brows are a step I am not willing to skimp on. πŸ˜‚

Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint “Light”

This tint covers the unevenness on my face, with out looking blotchy. I prefer to apply it with a foundation brush. You really just need the smallest amount, so the price tag is worth it.

Jordana Best Lash Extreme “Black”

I curl my lashes then use what ever mascara I have open at the time. It currently just happens to be this one from Jordana. It isn’t the best, but it also isn’t the worst. Probably won’t pick it up again though.πŸ‘Œ

Tarte LipSurgence “Wonder”

When I do the minimal makeup, I tend to use a taker or more pigmented color on my lips. It just feels like it draws the focus away from my almost bare skin. One I am really loving lately is the Tarte LipSurgence in “Wonder”. It is a pretty red shade, with a nice minty taste/scent.

And here is how it turns out! Ignore my aggravated expression, it was 6am. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

Thank you for reading, and I hope you enjoyed it. What are you favorite minimal makeup products or products to use in a no makeup makeup look? Comment below!

Notoriously Morbid Vanishing Cabinet | April 2017

Unfortunately, this will be my last Vanishing Cabinet, my budget just wouldn’t allow for me to keep getting all these subscriptions. One had to go. 😭

This months theme is “Sour Ground” and based off of Stephan King’s “Pet Semetary”.

It came with four pigments, one lip product, and a Sour Punch Straw!

Resurrection “Sinister Spirits” Lip Shimmer

I have never tried one of their lip shimmers, but it seems to just be a tinted balm. Which, I am all about in the warmer months.

This is it swatched a few times back and forth. It is a pretty berry shade, that smells like grape!

  • Soil of a mans heart
  • Each buries his own
  • Sometimes dead is better
  • Wanna play with you

There are two mattes and two shimmers, that are going to create a studying coheasive look. I can not wait to play with them.

I am really sad this is my last Vanishing Cabinet for now, because it was great!

I hope you all enjoyed this VC, thank you for stopping by. What are your favorite products from Notoriously Morbid? Comment below!

Lip Product Declutter Part 2 |The Drawers

I am going to have to do this one a little different than Part one. There are too many products to name them all. So. I will be showing and searching them all, but only hitting the high points.

Draw 1 Sample Sizes

Fun fact, I actually prefer Sample Sizes, because I can actually use them up before they go bad.

Tartest Lip Paints

I believe these came as a set with some liners.

Keeping them all.

More Tarte

Another Lip Paint and two little randoms.

I actually use these so they are all staying.

NARS

I really enjoy NARS lip products, but they are so pricey.

I will be getting rid of one, I had a double of the “Cruella” lip crayon.

Notoriously Morbid

One Mystic Matte and two Lip toppers.

These guys are staying with me, I use them all the time.

Lip tint type products

I really like all of these, I wish I could get more of the Pacifica and Jersey Shore shades, specifically.

These are staying in my collection.

Glosses

I honestly can’t really recall where any of these came from, but I use them.

Staying with me!

Random little lipsticks

I think all but one of these came free from Sephora, as promo codes!

Even though the YSL one is not CF, I am keeping it because it is almost gone. However…

This baby, matte red lipstick from MakeUp Forever is going bye bye.

Little Liquid Lips

I love little Liquid lipsticks.

I think my faves are the ones from Too Faced!

I am getting rid of this gloss stain from Ulta, I have never used it.

Drawer 2

In here, there are mostly longer lipsticks/crayons and NYX glosses.

NYX Butter Glosses

A long time ago I got rid of all of my butter glosses but these four.

My babies are staying.

Colour Pop Lippie Sticks

I LOVE these, I feel like I have either talked about or worn them in a look a ton.

ELF Matte Lip Crayons

The first product is actually the Graphic Minimalist double sides lip stick that 11thgorgeous created with ELF. The rest are Matte lip crayons.

I will be getting rid of the Graphic Minimalist duo…

Only because one side melted.

Random lip crayons

I am like 90% positive all but two of these came from subscription boxes.

I will be getting rid of the one from Wet n Wild.

I just really dislike the formula.

NYX Intense Butter Glosses

Like with the original Butter Glosses, I narrowed these down ages ago.

NYX Matte Lip Creams

I really love the formula of these guys!

I will forever keep these.

Drawer 3

We are starting out this draw by getting rid of two things.

The Real Her Liquid Lip I hated, and an Ofra lip gloss wheel I will never use.

Milani lip sticks

I only have a few of these, but they are really nice and have pretty packaging. I dislike the scent though.

For now, I am keeping them, but that might change because of the scent.

NYX Mega Volume Lip Stick

This is a fantastic line of lipsticks, I never hear anything about.

I will be getting rid of the red and purple shades..

But, but only because the packaging broke and they won’t scroll up.

We n Wild Liquid Lips

I am not swatching the Cat Suit ones, because I literally just reviewed these.

Here is the metallic pink though, really pretty!

Random lipsticks

One from Real Her and one from Mellow

I am keeping both. I suck at decluttering.

More random

A notoriously Morbid gloss and an Ofra Liquid lip

I thought I would never use either of these, but I have used them both quite a bit!

Glosses

I really love these Wet n Wild glosses!

The Smith and Cult, not so much…

Too sticky for me, into the Declutter bin it goes.

Last drawer

More traditional lipsticks.

Burts Bees

When these came out I did a post swatching every shade. I have already narrowed it down to only four.

I will be keeping these!

ELF Lip Sticks

For such an inexpensive brand, ELF makes great lip products.

These guys are going no where.

Wet n Wild Lipsticks

I love every single one of these Lip Sticks. They are so inexpensive, but still pigmented and long lasting.

They are all so nice!

Ulta Matte Lip Stick

I only have one of these, but I am really liking it.

I plan on picking up more shades.

From the stand

These are the lip products I keep out, to remember to use, and two red apple lipsticks, because they are my favorite.

The two MAC shades are my only remaining MAC lipsticks. Pictured is also my last Maybelline lipstick. They are almost gone! The blue tube is that lipstick from Estee Edit that deepens shades… someone gifted it to me and I really want to test it out.

I did decide to get rid of the Medusas Makeup lipstick because of all of the shimmer, and the Bite lipstick in Quince (?) because it is so old.

Declutter so far

*NEW* Wet N’ Wild Photo Focus Face Products |Hot or Not

The new Wet N’ Wild Photo Focus face products have been all over YouTube and Instagram. I had to find out if they were worth they hype, or wastes of time.

Wet N Wild Photo Focus Foundation “Shell Ivory” $5.99

I am actually quite happy with this foundation. It has great coverage and lasts quite awhile. I thought this shade was going to be a little dark for me, but it ended up working out great!

Rate: πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Photo Focus Concealer “Light Medium Beige” $4.99

I have seen a lot of people comparing this to the Tarte Shap Tape concealer. If that concealer is any thing like this one, no thank you. I found that it gave little coverage. This shade was also a little dark for me. It is really inexpensive though, so if you are not wanting under eye coverage, this concealer might work out of for you.

Rate: πŸ‘πŸ‘

Photo Focus Powder “Warm Light” $4.99

This powder is pressed,  but when applied it feels really finely milled. It is very light on the face, and doesn’t cause any cake! I think I found my new favorite drugstore powder.

Rate: πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Here are the products on my face after 3 hours of wear. All good besides the concealer!!
